Fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, geophysical fluid dynamics, computational physics, plasma dynamics, applied mathematics, and basic research in computational fluid dynamics algorithm design. Development of third-order upwinding and related codes for highly convective flows. Applications to engineering and geophysical fluid dynamics.

Member: Editorial boards of International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, Numerical Heat Transfer, and Numerical Methods in Heat and Fluid Flow.
