This degree program was established to introduce flexibility into the College of Engineering. Within the 66 credits of the
option portion of the program, a student can pursue a focused curriculum in areas such as business administration, industrial
management, environmental engineering, biomedical engineering, and pre-medicine. The program of study may be very narrow as in
the case of a student wishing to specialize in structural design, foundation and soil mechanics. For another student interested
in patent law, the program may be broad, touching on chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering subjects. The individual's
program is designed to meet each student's announced goals.
