GREETINGS FROM THE
DIRECTOR

Hi, my name is Heidi Cressman and I am the Director of
the Women in Engineering Program. I am a graduate of the University of
Akron with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor’s
degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am thrilled to be able to bring my
talents here and to work with such bright and enthusiastic women each and
every day. My goal in the Women in Engineering Program is to help each
woman that chooses engineering to have a successful experience at the University
of Akron. In addition, I am here to support our women so that when they
graduate they are able to enter the workforce confident, productive and
capable of tackling the toughest problems in industry.
